ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Located in the heart of one of Iran’s busiest commercial complexes, the design of this space presented a rare opportunity to craft a distinctive experiential narrative within the framework of a shopping mall.
As a design team, we set out to create an environment that feels warm, dynamic, and unique, an immersive space that gently draws the visitor away from the surrounding chaos and invites them into a new realm, inspired by tropical landscapes and contemporary design language.
The ceiling, envisioned as a key architectural element, features a flat geometric grid system that not only defines the spatial identity of the project but also establishes the tone for a layered sensory experience.
Through the integration of focused lighting, natural wood, woven rattan, light warm-toned stone, alongside thoughtfully arranged volumes of greenery, the atmosphere conveys a quiet sense of calm and connection to nature within the commercial context of Iran Mall.
Natural light and visual connectivity with the musical fountain and surrounding landscape were prioritized throughout the design process, particularly in harmony with the placement of plant life and green installations across various zones of the space, reinforcing its vitality and organic presence.
