ABOUT THE PROJECT:
MinTea performs as a podium that offers traditional Moroccan tea and the Persian Gulf Countries’ Beverages and patisseries. We insist on creating a space that presents the region’s architecture and ancient atmosphere not using the same material therefore we focused on the solution to recreate the so-called pattern with the industrial materials. Based on the geometric shapes that form the traditional patterns, we generate a scheme by using two layers of Steel meshes placed at two different angles to build the main structure. To present a nostalgic feeling, we set a mood board consisting of a specific color pallet and materials, mosaic floor finishing, rugs, and traditional accessories and ornaments. Furthermore, to increase the coziness, dim lighting, and greenery were considered.
